The Florida Mall Orlando is very close to the Orlando International Airport and near some very popular destinations (Disney related). The Florida mall covers an area of 1,849,000 sq. ft.
There are over 250 specialty stores in this mall. There is a very large food court and almost 30 restaurants and eateries which cater for all tastes.
The Florida mall is anchored by Macy's, Dillard's, Sears, J.C. Penney, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Nordstrom. Parking is free at this mall. There ais no parking garage at the Florida Mall. The mall offers valet parking services. The mall is open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday and from 11:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
There have been some complaints about some of the stores’ pushy and rude employees, as well as some violent behavior at the Florida Mall. Although this seems to be well under control by security at the mall.
The Florida Mall is one of the biggest one-level shopping centers in the country. The Florida Malls architecture and building plan may prove to be a little bit confusing to visitors. The mall is completely enclosed.
The Florida Mall is the biggest mall in Central Florida and due to its high-standards is very upscale. Its family-friendly facilities include the possibility to rent strollers, diaper changing stations in the private rest rooms and a very nice children's play area.
